Frequently Asked Questions

Most classes are between 60-75 minutes. On Saturdays, we have a 1.5-hour class. Some sessions have add-on classes such as fighting & tactics which are 30 minutes – please check our timetable for more details.
Kids Krav classes go for 45 minutes.

No, not at all. We often have people joining in with no experience.
Krav Maga is a simple system that enables you to learn fast and will have you excited to come back for more.

Most classes follow a similar structure:

  • Warm up for 10-15 minutes
  • Striking component, 10-15 minutes
  • Self-defence solutions, 30 minutes
  • Pressure drills, 10 minutes
  • Cool down, 5 minutes

Of course! A lot of women come along and enjoy our classes. Krav Maga is a great way to get fit while learning essential self-defence techniques that are important for both men and women.

For your first class, all you need to bring is a water bottle, towel, and clothes you feel comfortable training in. We train with our shoes on so bring a pair of runners.
After your first class, we will have some gear for you to purchase, including a Krav Maga training shirt and protective gears for adults including groin guard, mouth guard, and gloves.

Children can wear comfortable clothes like T-shirt, tracksuit pants or a pair of sports shorts. They can participate with bare feet during the training. Please bring a towel and water bottle.

The cost depends on how often you train and your level of commitment. We have many different memberships depending on your training.

To get the most out of your Krav Maga training, you should train twice a week as a minimum.

Krav Maga is a practical self-defence system. In some ways, it may appear similar to martial arts because of the strikes and self-defence we practise. However, there are many differences, the most important being that Krav Maga equips you to deal with a real life self-defence situation in a way that no martial art does.
